Maplewynd Beginnings
Maplewynd came into being in the early 70's when I started raising and showing Doberman Pinschers in conformation and obedience. Over the years we acquired many titles and degrees.
In the 80's I purchased my first Rottweiler and continued to breed and show both breeds.
In 1985 my house burned and I lost my Doberman female. It took time for me to recover from this loss.
| In 1991 I purchased my first Miniature Schnauzer,
Maplewynds Classie Cricket (Cricket). I wanted to go back to showing but Cricket decided
that showing wasn't for her. I purchased Tasha from a kennel which had many champions. Tasha gave me seven beautiful puppies of which two became champions. |

In May of 1995 I purchased Bashanova's Some Like It Hot (Sassy) who attained her Breed Championship in 1996, her Obedience Companion Dog Title (CD) in 2002, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) in 2002 and her Rally Novice (RN) in 2005.
Sassy's first daughter Bashanova's Evita Perone attained her championship and her son Maplewynd's Saturday Night Live and her daughter Maplewynds Song of the Night (Whitney) were pointed. Whitney was sold to Sandcastle Miniature Schnauzers and she produced two Champions.
